I don’t mind if you don’t mind if you don’t mind
I got a message from my wickedness
I’m feeling sinful and I must confess
I poured the juice inside the glass on the altar
You want me, come over now and get squeezed like grape
Every inch of your fingers extension
The tangled vineyard of an intimate question
Every pinch of salt that you threw as an offer
I’m gonna come over now and get squeezed like grape

Pressure weighing down on my shoulders
I only need to say what’s in my, wait a minute
Can you take a second to sing me that song you wrote a long long time ago
I hope it lifts the weight from my lips and I can say
What’s in my heart, what’s in my way
What’s in my heart, what’s in my way
What’s in my heart, what’s in my way

I’ve got your number written down
Can you feel me when I think of you?
I stay up late night hoping you’ll
Materialize in my living room
When my eyes shut, nodding off
Your crystal iris looking back
I should just call you
Pick up my phone and just call you
Ms. Liza can you hear me
The psychic link between us
Yearns to be opened by spoken emotions
I’m crying out to love and be loved
I swear it’s written in the stars above
If you read my palms would it count as holding hands
If it’s in the cards can we see where we stand
I’m dreaming of you
and I don’t ever dream
Ms. Liza can you hear me
The psychic link between us
Yearns to be opened by spoken emotions
I’m crying out to love and be loved
I swear it’s written in the stars above
Ms. Liza can you hear me
I’m begging you to see me
In your crystal ball
You know I wanna give you all of what I’ve got
I know it’s not a lot but I swear it’s written in the stars above

March 12, 2021: Evvy Shark aka Cherry Hieronymus (she/they) currently lives in Frederick, MD. “Ms. Liza’s Psychic Hotline” is an exercise in subconscious projection, automatic spirit writing, aural oddities, and finding a soul in disembodied voices. We hope you’ll join us in listening to this genre-blending meander into the dark and beautiful unknown.
Evvy Shark also created a stunning visual album for this release. They can be enjoyed as individual videos as well as an entire album. The visual album is also available on limited edition VHS tape. They feature handmade covers and all physical purchases come with a handmade lyric zine created by Evvy Shark.
Evvy Shark requests that digital proceeds support Grimalkin's label and mutual aid fund at this time and this helps us towards sustaining our work.
Cassette and VHS proceeds go to the Black Creatives Redistribution
Fund.www.blackcrfund.org
Black CR Fund accepts contributions from people who want to support Black creativity.
Those funds are then redistributed to Black artists, musicians, writers, and artisans either by direct payment or by purchasing their works.
The purchased works are then placed on the web shop and the profit from those sales goes back into the Black creatives community by reinvestment. Repeating the cycle of direct payments and the purchasing of Black works.
"Black CR Fund values the importance of circulating money within the Black community with a focus on Black creators and I am excited to see where this initiative will take us."—Mariah Fortune-Johnson
Lathe proceeds go back to Gr’s label and mutual aid fund and helps us towards sustaining our work.
